TAKING YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS
 |
- Shoulder width - from the neck to the top of the arm (the top of the arm hole)
- Sleeve length - with the arm slightly bent, from the
top
of the
arm,
over
the
elbow to the wrist
- Neck - round the widest part of the neck
- Bust or chest - over the biggest part of the bust or
the
chest
- Waist - tightly over the waist band
- Hips - over the largest part of your bottom
- Outside length - from your waist down (the length of
your
trousers,
skirt
or
a
dress)
- Upper arm measurement - round the widest part of the
upper arm
- Front waist length - from the highest point on the
shoulder, over
the
tip
of
the bust to the lower edge of the waist tape
- Bust depth - from the highest point on the shoulder
(neck) to the
tip
of
the
bust
- Under-Bust - over the body under your bust
- Front crotch - from the middle point between your legs
(where the seams
of
your
pants usually meet) up to your front waist (the top of the waist band)
- Inside length - the inside length of your trousers
- Knee - over your knee (allow some room - this will tell
us
how
tight
your
trousers will be)
- Calf - over your calf (allow some room - this will tell
us
how
tight
your
trousers will be)
- Ankle - over your ankle (allow some room - this will
tell
us
how
tight
your
trousers will be)
- Rear - from the middle point between your legs (where
the
seams of
your
pants
usually meet) up to your rear waist (the top of the waist band)
- Thigh - over your thigh (allow some room - this will
tell
us
how
tight
your
trousers will be)
- Undercup - Under and around your breast (this
determines
the size of your
cup)
- Crosscup - over your breast (this determines the size
of
your cup)
- Nipple height - from your underchest over your breast
up
to
your
nipple
(this
determines the size of your cup)
- Cup height - from your nipple to the top edge of the
cup
(this
determines
the
size of your cup)
- Back width - the width of your back
- Back length
